Recently, Sunshine Power signed a 638MWH COYA energy storage project cooperation agreement with the famous French Energy Group ENGIE, which will provide the industry with the industry's leading hydraulic energy storage system Powrtitan. After the completion of the power plant, it will be Latin America's largest energy storage project and one of the world's largest optical storage DC coupling projects. It is expected to improve the stability and flexibility of the local power grid and accelerate the transformation and upgrading of Chilean energy structure.
Essence In October this year, Engie successfully built the COYA photovoltaic power station, all of which adopt the sunlight power supply 1500V inverter solution. In order to further improve the energy use efficiency of the power plant and ensure the stability of the power grid, it is imperative to install the energy storage. With the innovative practice of the "San -Power Integration Professional Integration", the innovative practice of the "Three Electric Integration Professional Integration", and the excellent localized service, it has reached cooperation with Engie on the COYA Energy Storage Power Station.
The 638MWH COYA Energy Storage Power Station will begin construction in December 2022. It is expected to be put into operation in the first quarter of 2024. After the project is put into operation, 200 million kWh can be delivered to the annual power consumption of 100,000 households, which is equivalent to 65,642 tons of carbon dioxide reduction per year.
