The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has opened the sixth phase of its Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. This phase will add 900 megawatts of power generation capacity and the project is scheduled to be completed in 2030.
The company said it has received bids from four international companies.
The solar park has an installed capacity of 1,627 MW, of which the first phase is 13 MW, the second phase is 200 MW, the third phase is 800 MW, and the fourth and fifth phases are still under development.
