Automatic charging AGV is suitable for occasions with long working cycles, many cars, and few people, and a high degree of automation, and often uses alkaline fast-charging batteries, such as cigarettes, metallurgy, chemical, automotive, aviation, and other industries.
(2) Manual charging
When the AGV's power is insufficient, the ground control center will command to drive to the designated charging area or stand, and the full-time personnel will manually complete the electrical connection between the AGV and the charger, and then implement the charging. After completion, it is also manually disconnected from the connection circuit to resume work status. The characteristics of manual charging AGV are safe, reliable, simple, and easy to operate, but need special personnel to supervise, waste manpower, and reduce the degree of automation. It is often used in occasions where the degree of automation is not very high, there are few cars and many people, and the standard work system, such as using AGV for 8 hours during the day, and charging the AGV during breaks, suitable for acidic conventional batteries.
(3) Change the battery to charge
When the AGV's power is insufficient, the power lithium battery pack is manually replaced by a full-time staff, and the AGV can be put into use. The replaced lithium battery pack is ready for use after being charged. Its characteristic is simple and fast, but it needs to be supervised by a dedicated person, and it needs twice as many battery packs, which wastes manpower and financial resources, and the method is primitive. It is often used on occasions with high requirements for the timeliness of work response and insufficient vehicles.
