In recent years, Aiming at the bottleneck and pain points of the development of the new energy vehicle industry, such as battery life, safety, charging facilities and charging services, Tianjin High-tech Zone has built a leading ecological environment for the electric vehicle industry in China. The high-tech zone recently introduced the world-renowned Econik ELECTRIC vehicle project, which will build the world's first electric vehicle contract manufacturing plant to produce electric MPV. The electric MPV, created by Iconik, will debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in April next year.
At present, the high-tech zone has gradually formed a complete new energy vehicle industry chain. In the core field of power lithium ion battery, Boston Power Lithium ion battery project with international leading level will be settled in the high-tech Zone with a total investment of 6 billion yuan. In the field of electric motor control, Protean Hub motor project with international leading technology phase I plans to invest 450 million yuan to build hub motor production line, which can realize annual output value of 1.2 billion yuan after completion; In the field of vehicle manufacturing, the high-tech Zone owns the huatai Headquarters project with independent intellectual property rights in the whole chain, the Guoneng New energy vehicle project with the acquisition of all intellectual property rights from Saab of Sweden, and the Hengtian New energy vehicle project with the background of a central enterprise.
In the next step, Tianjin High-tech Zone will focus on building an innovative driving center for new energy vehicles and lithium-ion battery industry in "Made in China 2025", and actively build the layout of the whole industrial chain from key parts to vehicle manufacturing.
