The $36 million clean energy project in Vietnam, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, kicked off on June 4 at a ceremony in Hanoi, Vietnam's capital.
The Vietnam Low Emissions Energy Program II (V-LEEP II) funds 2,000 MW of renewable energy and 1,000 MW of natural gas power generation. It will provide technical support for Vietnam to achieve sustainable energy transition goals, support cooperation, organize capacity building activities, and link technology transfer and power management
