Main types of service robots
According to different application fields, service robots can be divided into two main types: personal (home) service robots and commercial service robots. Personal (home) service robots include sweeping robots, mopping robots, window cleaning robots, companion robots, educational robots and recreational robots, while commercial robots include food delivery robots, welcome robots, hotel robots, shopping mall guide robots, bank counter robots, inspection robots, etc.
Among the many service robots, household service robots occupy a dominant position, with the largest proportion of sweeping robots, and with the growth of household disposable income and consumer upgrading, more and more young people favor products with a high degree of intelligence, and the emergence of sweeping robots has liberated the hands of "lazy people" and freed people from heavy housework.
