What exactly is the core robotics technology?

The core technologies of robotics are broadly divided into two categories: articulated motors and robot systems. The following is an example of a humanoid robot.

Among them, the robot joint motor is subdivided into power part, deceleration part and drive system, to put it bluntly: every instruction issued by the system, the drive system should be accurately executed and error within 0.1 mm, including response time and spatial location, etc. At present, the core technology of the robot's joint motor is still relatively rare in China, basically in the hands of the United States and Japan, of course, there are some domestic manufacturers of motors, but most of the shape But most of them are very big and cannot be applied to humanoid robots.

 

Robot system: most of them are built on top of ROS open source system, ROS originated from a laboratory of Stanford University, although the open source can be very powerful, but there is no company background, the loopholes generated are also very much, causing the system to run unstable.


At present, there are individual robot system manufacturers in China doing robot system, but suffering from the immaturity of the industry, not many developers, the system is difficult to progress and development.


However, today's release of the 14th Five-Year Robotics Industry Development Plan has brought big benefits to the robotics industry, aiming at technology research and breakthroughs in robotics system development, bionic perception, bio-mechanical-electric fusion and other cutting-edge technologies.
