It is understood that Bosch launched the cloud-based battery management technology in July 2019, which can monitor the battery status in real time through the cloud and feedback relevant data to the vehicle owner, plus the cloud's intelligent optimization of electric vehicle battery use and diagnostic maintenance, etc. to improve battery life and reliability pairs, which is expected to extend battery life by 20%. In addition, the cloud-based battery technology can also front-load the danger warning and prevent the occurrence of battery fire accidents to a certain extent.

It is reported that the two companies will jointly develop the exclusive cloud-based battery model and algorithm for the Chinese Express smart electric car "HiPhi1", helping the car to complete personalized cloud-based digital management of the entire battery life cycle. Its HiPhi1 model, which was unveiled at the end of July last year, is undergoing extreme cold testing. According to its announced production plan, production of the HiPhi1 will begin in the second half of this year, and the car will go on sale in the first half of 2021.
