Currently, most UPS power batteries on the market use lead-acid batteries. Although lead-acid batteries do not have the lightweight and environmental protection characteristics of lithium-ion batteries, the price of batteries is very cheap. It is better to use the lithium-ion battery for UPS power supply, and it is more advantageous for the following reasons:
●the Li-ion battery is smaller and lighter. The volume of a lithium-ion battery is 2/3 of the volume of a lead-acid battery, and its weight is about 1/3 of the weight of a lead-acid battery. Lithium-ion batteries of the same volume have a higher capacity than lead-acid batteries.
●Long life: The lithium iron phosphate battery pack has a longer service life under the same conditions, and the general service life is basically about 4 to 5 years.
●Excellent high-temperature performance: The thermal peak of lithium iron phosphate battery can reach 350~500℃.
●Fast charging: high current 2C can be charged and discharged quickly, and the battery can be fully charged within 40 minutes under a dedicated charger at 1.5C.
●Safe and reliable: Lithium iron phosphate has passed strict safety tests and will not explode even in severe collisions.
●Environmental protection: In line with European RoHS regulations, it is a green battery.
