1、 Overcharge test
Using a constant current to continuously charge the battery cell, set a fixed voltage limit. Lithium ion dendrites occur inside the core on the negative terminal and pierce the barrier is the biggest threat after this test.
Note: UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is a product safety testing and certification organization, and for consumers UL is the symbol of the safety mark. Globally, UL is one of the most trusted providers of conformity assessment for manufacturers. (From the UL test laboratory Chinese website)
2、 Short circuit test
Using a small resistance wire directly connected to the positive and negative terminals, so that the battery constitutes a large current circuit, the battery internal temperature rise quickly
3、 Pinprick test
Vertical penetration of the battery with an iron needle, and continue to constitute an internal short circuit
4、 Thermal shock
Put the cell into a high-temperature box, the speed of heating up to the specifications, the continuous high temperature leads to internal partition melting, constituting a large internal short circuit
