Frequent undercharging will lead to a reduction in the number of cycles of the battery, will also shorten the life of the battery.
3、To prevent over-discharge
The depth of discharge of the battery and the battery design charge and discharge cycle times (service life) is closely related. Play a proportion, if the depth of discharge is 10%, the number of cycles is 10,000 times, when the depth of discharge is 70%, the number of cycles is only 500 times. The greater the depth of discharge, the lower the number of cycles.
If the battery is severely over-discharged, the life of the battery will be shorter, and in serious cases, the battery may not be able to be reactivated to the best condition or even scrapped at once. In order to prevent this battery over-discharge, we must install an additional BMS system in the battery, which can regulate the voltage of the battery, can balance the voltage and current between the batteries, will not appear a full starvation situation.
4、Control the environmental temperature
The especially high-temperature environment will shorten the life of the solar battery by half, so the control of the solar battery temperature is very important. The service life of the battery is relatively long in normal weather, and the battery will suffer if the weather is hot. If the environment is relatively harsh, there is a very low temperature or very high temperature, it is best to choose a battery with a wider temperature range of gel battery
