In order to further deepen the cooperation, Guo Hin and the customer recently signed a Strategic Supply and Localization Agreement, in which both parties hope to enter into strategic cooperation in the supply and procurement of lithium iron phosphate batteries (hereinafter referred to as "LFP batteries").
According to the agreement, the customer is expected to purchase no less than 200GWh of batteries from AmTRAN from 2023 to 2028, and AmTRAN shall ensure that the quantity of batteries required by the customer is satisfied. It is reported that in order to meet customer's battery demand, on the one hand, Guoxuan High-tech will export LFP batteries through battery production bases in mainland China; On the other hand, Amtran plans to manufacture and supply LFP cells locally in the United States and to explore joint ventures in the future. The LFP battery products will be used for electric vehicles and other applications in the CUSTOMER's U.S. and global markets.
Battery Net learned that the customer will support the construction costs, equipment procurement costs and other expenses required by Guoxuan to establish a factory in the United States through phased prepayment, which can be used to deduct the payment for goods or establish a joint venture factory in the later stage. The remaining part will be paid by Guoxuan in installments as agreed in the agreement.
In addition, the parties are engaged in friendly discussions on the establishment of joint ventures or other cooperative efforts that may include investments in upstream materials and downstream battery recycling industries, in addition to the joint venture to build a battery production base.

In 2022, The market layout of Guoxuan High-tech covers four fields of automotive, energy storage, special and recycling. On the basis of the ten production bases, it will continue to build or expand. By the end of 2022, the production capacity of Guoxuan is expected to reach 100GWh, and it is planned to put into production over 50GWh.
