It is said that Tesla plans to make a battery pack for the forthcoming Cybertruck on a new battery production line in Fremons.
The file shows that Tesla describes the project as "CTA Battery Battery B-Build".
Tesla finally plans to mass produce Cybertruck in Austin, Texas. However, the New Tesla factory outside Austin is not ready to start production battery and battery packs.
Earlier this year, Tesla applied for another battery and cathode manufacturer outside the Texas Super Factory. Although the project has begun, it may not yet be ready.
It is understood that Front Factory is the only Tesla factory that can produce all four cars produced by the company, and was eventually selected to be responsible for Cybertruck packaging.
The second -floor production line that Tesla applied for construction in August will be used to produce Cybertruck battery packs. Tesla will use 4680 batteries produced in the Kato ROAD factory or other previously used battery designs made in GigaFactory Nevada, and apply them to the new Front battery production line.
Tesla Cybertruck's reservation is expected to exceed 1 million, and the official production timetable has not yet been announced.
