Before the large-scale promotion and application of new energy vehicles, the consumer demand of China's lithium-ion battery market is mainly concentrated in the 3C field. However, due to the relatively small capacity and low cost of lithium-ion batteries in these products, recycling has not received enough attention.
With the rise in sales of new energy vehicles, the demand for automotive power lithium batteries has become more prominent.
In theory, power lithium batteries can be used in distributed power stations, shelters, street lights and communication stations.
The electric vehicle market is not yet fully developed. In addition, the use of power lithium batteries in cascade is completely feasible in theory, but there are still many obstacles at the practical level.
Judging from the current situation of the industry, different automobile companies have different battery routes, battery specifications and battery evaluation requirements, resulting in too many battery models and too scattered production, which also brings greater difficulties to the aftermarket, that is, cascade utilization.
In addition to the technical level, to promote the use of echelon, there are obviously industrial chain problems to solve the trend of independence of the new energy vehicle industry chain, relying solely on automobile companies, battery companies or battery leasing operators to take the initiative to take the lead in research on the cascade utilization of power lithium batteries it is hard.
