"Hello everyone, I am Panda robot Youyou, I was born for AI..." A panda robot performs tai Chi at the world Robot Conference 2021 in Beijing, capital of China, Sept. 10, 2019.
It is reported that the panda robot Youyou is 1.30 meters tall and weighs 63 kilograms. It is based on Walker X, a large humanoid service robot, and is specially customized for the China Pavilion at the Dubai World Expo. It will debut at the World Robot Conference in 2021.
Reporters at the scene to see the panda robot Youyou has a black and white "national treasure" appearance of the giant panda. Staff introduced that the robot is equipped with artificial intelligence technology to achieve computer vision, autonomous navigation and positioning, hand-eye coordination technology, high-performance servo driver, motion planning and control, voice technology and so on. It expresses the spirit of innovation, cooperation, enterprising and openness through the expressive and personified multi-modal design with a sense of life.
It is understood that dubai world expo will be officially opened on October 1, at the appointed time, the panda robot will be used as China pavilion friendly messenger of peace, in the exhibition to introduce Chinese panda ecological wisdom of ecological points, wisdom, agriculture and other elements, let everybody know China has always advocated the concept of green development, at the same time show is characteristic of Chinese traditional writing, drawing, tai chi and other skills.
