1、Overcharge performance
After standard charging of 26650 Li-ion battery, measure the initial state of the battery. When the battery state is normal, charge to 10.0V with 3C current, then turn to constant voltage charging to terminate at 0.01C as of current. Observe the changes in the appearance of the battery.
Result: No fire, no explosion
2、Over discharge performance
After standard charging of 26650 Li-ion battery, the initial state of the battery is measured and discharged to 0V at 0.5C when the battery state is normal, and the change of battery appearance is observed.
Result: No fire, no explosion
3、External short circuit
After standard charging of 26650 Li-ion battery, measure the initial state of the battery, place it in an explosion-proof cover and directly short-circuit its positive and negative terminals (the total resistance of the line is not greater than 50m), and end the test when the battery temperature drops to about 10℃ lower than the peak temperature. Observe the temperature and appearance changes of the battery.
Results: no fire, no explosion
4、Heat abuse
Measure the initial state of 26650 lithium-ion battery, the battery standard charge, placed in the oven, the temperature rises to 130 ± 2 ℃ at a rate of (5 ± 2 ℃)/min and insulation 30min. observe the change in battery appearance.
Results: no fire, no explosion
5、Drop
Test the initial capacity of 26650 lithium-ion battery, after standard charging, measure the initial state of the battery, the test battery from the height (the lowest height) of 1m position vertical, horizontal free fall to the concrete floor, required to fall 2 times.
Results: no fire, no explosion
6, heavy impact
A diameter of 15.8mm steel rod placed in the middle of the fully charged battery; then the weight of 10Kg hammer from a height of 1.0m free fall to the upper part of the battery.
Result: No fire, no explosion
7、Squeeze test
The cell is placed between the two extrusion surfaces of the extrusion equipment, the cylindrical cell axis is parallel to the extrusion surface, and the pressure is gradually increased to 13kN, and the pressure is maintained for 1min.
