According to data released by the company, the British (excluding North Ireland) in 2022 deployed the 833MW battery energy storage system. In any case, this number is equivalent to about 40%of the battery energy storage system deployed in Europe.
LCP Delta listed Ireland as the second largest energy storage market. In 2022, it deployed 328MW battery energy storage system (17%), followed by Germany 226MW (12.3%) and France 224MW (11.6%). Therefore, the total of these four countries accounted for 84.4%of the 1.9GW battery energy storage system deployed by Europe in 2022.
Italy is expected to have a sharp jump from 1.3%in 2022 to 22.7%in 2023.
