NTPC bids for 3000MWh energy storage system

NTPC Renewable Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has invited bids from developers to build an Interstate Transmission System (ISTS)-connected energy storage system with a capacity of 3,000MWh and a minimum of 500MW in India. The last date to submit bids is March 11, 2022 with a bid bond of 1.2 million rupees (approximately $16,083).
