1. Attention notice in solar street light daily use
(1) The solar panel of the solar street light should be considered fragile, so please keep the solar street light against dropping and serious stacking.
(2) Solar panels should be cleaned regularly during use, either quarterly or semi-annual, to ensure effective solar light absorbance.
(3) The solar street light needs to keep away from houses, trees, billboards, and other obstacles when installing; otherwise, it will affect the conversion efficiency.
(4) There are questions about the direction and angle of solar installation. If you are in the northern hemisphere, face the solar panel towards the south as far as possible when installing the solar street light; if you are in the southern hemisphere, face the solar panel towards the north.
2. To solar street light system fault, mainly divided into two kinds.
(1) First, the integrated solar street motion light doesn't work. The reasons for the breaking up of solar street lights lie in the following four aspects: 1. The battery is broken, so the lamp didn't come on. The user can check the controller indicator, or use the remote control to read the parameters, or use a multimeter to measure the battery voltage to determine whether the battery is broken; 2. The led light failed. Users can judge whether the LED lamp is broken by checking the status of the load indicator on the controller. 3. The solar panel broke down, so the battery can not be charged, and there is no electricity to supply the LED lamp so that the light does not work. It can be judged by looking at the indicator lamp of the controller, or measuring the open-circuit voltage and short circuit current of the solar panel with a multimeter; 4. If none of the above three situations occurs, then it means that the controller is broken.
(2) Second, the LED light is turned on/off occasionally.
This situation can exclude the problem of LED lights and controllers. There are two possibilities: One, Battery failure. Battery storage power decline, so the battery is insufficient to support the LED lights work properly every day, can be judged by the actual test lights; 2. Solar panel failure, solar panel generation capacity is insufficient, resulting in the battery does not have enough power to supply the LED lights, it can be judged by looking at the indicator lamp of the controller or measuring the open-circuit voltage and short circuit current of the solar panel with a multimeter.
3. Integrated solar street motion lights do not work at night.
Troubleshooting: Check that the solar street light can be manually activated.
Solution: Refer to the 'Activation and Installation' section on the user guide and run activation tests
T: Check if the solar panel is blocked from the sunlight by houses, trees, and other obstacles
S: Clear obstructions or change installation location
T: Check if there is an artificial light source(s) shining on the solar panel
S: Remove the artificial light sources of interference or charge the installation location
T: Examine the status of each component based on the repair guide.
S: Replace the damaged component(s)
4. A serious shortage of working time
T: Check if the product installation is blocked from the sunlight by houses, trees, and other obstacles
S: Clear obstructions or charge installation location
T: Check if the surface of the solar panel is dusty and covered
S: Clean the surface of solar panels
